International Department

Streamline Shippers & Associates has an extensive background in the International arena.  Over the past forty years, Streamline Shippers has developed from a fledgling group of like-minded small domestic shippers to the far-flung global entity it is today. 

Over the past 25 years great leaps and bounds in the United States’ policy on International trade have allowed for the world market to develop.  The Shipping Act of 1984 is one of these great leaps, allowing a nondiscriminatory process for the common carriage of goods in the foreign United States.  With its passage, the then association was able to negotiate its first contracts with the Ocean Carriers.  The world of international trade opportunity opened to our patrons.

Since our metamorphosis, our current organization has obtained both Freight Forwarder and Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) licenses.  With these benefits, Streamline continues to offer shippers every advantage that may be required to compete and thrive in the world economy.
